Theme Installation & Activate
Installing a theme through WordPress is quite easy
Upload the theme file
- Go to Appearance → Themes in the WordPress Dashboard
- Click on the Add New button
- Click on the Upload Theme button
- Click Browse and select current version of easymag.zip in your computer
- Click Install Now
After theme installed successfully you can activate theme by clicking Activate on link as appear in your screen.
Manually activate theme
If you wish to activate manually
- Go to Appearance Themes in the WordPress menu
- Hover over the theme thumbnail and press the Activate button

Menu Setup
Go to Appearance → Menus
- Select Pages you wanted to be appeared in Menu
- Click on Add to Menu
- Give a suitable menu name
- Drag menu item left-right to make it under another menu(sub menu).
- Click Create Menu
- Click Save Menu

Theme Options

Logo & Site Identity
Go to Appearance → Customize → Site Identity
- Click on Select logo Choose your Logo, Click on Logo Image you want to use then click on Select bottom right corner, you can either crop or skip cropping, its up to your requirements.
- Add Site Title, if you wish to show Title instead of Logo.
- Add Tagline, its like slogan that display beside logo.
- Site Icon (favicon), click on Select Image then Click on Image or Icon you want to use then click on Select bottom right corner, you can either crop or skip cropping.
- Click Save & Publish

Colors Setting
You can see different colors pallets already defined along with their titles. All those are pre-defined default colors, you can specify colors as your requirements by clicking on color pallets.
Go to Appearance → Customize → Colors
- Click on Color Pallet of each section to set color
- Click Save & Publish button to Save

Header Image

You can set a Header Image, its a wide banner images which is displayed just above menus bar.
Go to Appearance → Customize → Header Image
- To add new header image click on Add new image button
- Select a image by Clicking on any Image you wish to show as header image
- click on Select and Crop button at bottom right corner
- You can Drag marked area as your requirement and hit Crop Image button, bottom right corner
- You can see the changes and header images, now click on Save and Publish button at top left, and you are done
You can add multiple Header Images of your choice. You can publish all the added images by clicking on Randomize uploaded headers, by doing this all of the added images will be shown as header image randomly one image at a time as you reload pages.

Background Image
You can set a Background Image as website body background
Go to Appearance → Customize → Background Image
- To add new header image click on Select Image button
- Select a image by Clicking on any Image you wish to show as background image and hit Choose Image at bottom right corner
- You can set Background Repeat properties
- You can set Background Position properties
- You can set Background attachment properties
- You can see the changes as you updated values, now click on Save and Publish button at top left, and you are done

Sticky Menu
You can set Menu as Sticky, when you scroll them menu will stick at top of screen.
Go to Appearance → Customize →Header →Sticky Menu
- click on check box to tick
- Click on Save and Publish

Static Front Page
By default Your latest posts is activated and show 10 posts per page at front page of your site. If you want to set a static page as a front-page then you can follow those steps.
Go to Appearance → Customize → Static Front Page
- click on A static page to set a static page
- now select a page from dropdown menu for Front Page
- and you can select a page for posts page where your latest posts will be shown
- Click on Save and Publish

Layout & Content
You can set website layout, page and post layout and font size.
Go to Appearance → Customize → Layout and Content
- Click on Website Layout
- Select required Choose layout

Related Posts

Related posts can be sown in single page with same category. Sample of related posts is shown in figure below.
Go to Appearance → Customize → Layout and Content
- Click on Related Posts
- click on check box to tick
- Click on Save and Publish

Default Font Size
- Go to Appearance → Customize → Layout and Content
- Click on Default Font Size
- Set Default Font Size, the font size is in px
- Click on Save and Publish
Header Bar

Header Bar Date & Weather
Go to Appearance → Customize → Header → Header Bar Date
- Check on Hide Header Date to show/hide the date.
- Check on Hide Weather to show/hide the weather
- Click on Save and Publish

Header Bar Menu
Go to Appearance → Menus
- Click on create a new menu
- Add Menu Name
- Click on Create Menu button
- Select Pages you wanted to be appeared in Menu
- Click on Add to Menu
- Tick check box as Top-bar Menu, you can also manage menu from Manage Locations
- Click Save Menu

Header Bar Search Icon
- Go to Appearance → Widgets
- Drag Search widget to Top Bar Search widget position and you are done.

Header Bar Social Icons
- Go to Appearance → Widgets
- Drag Daisy: Social Icons widget to Top Bar Social widget position
- Set Title and your social profile links
- Click Save button after completion adding links and you are done
Header Wide Banner Ads
Go to Appearance → Widgets
- Drag Daisy: Ads728x90 widget to Header Ads 728x90 widget position
- Set Title Ads Link and your Ads Banner Image
- Click Save
Home Page Builder

Setup a Static Page
To setup home page layout you need to first setup a static page. Create a page and set it as a static front page.
- Go to Settings → Reading
- Click on A static Page radio button
- Choose a page for Front page
- Click Save

News Ticker
- Go to Appearance → Widgets
- Drag Daisy: News Ticker widget to News Ticker Position
- Add Titles
- Select type from where posts will be loaded. A. Recent Posts: this option will load recent posts from any categories. B. Category: This option will load posts from specified category.
- Choose Category This option will work for only when Type is selected as "Category"
- Number of Posts specify number of posts that you want to load on News Ticker
- Click Save

Featured Slider
- Go to Appearance → Widgets
- Drag Daisy: Featured Slider widget to Frontpage News Slider widget position
- Add Titles
- Select type from where posts will be loaded. A. Recent Posts: this option will load recent posts from any categories. B. Category: This option will load posts from specified category.
- Choose Category This option will work for only when Type is selected as "Category"
- Number of Posts specify number of posts that you want to load on News Ticker
- Click Save

Highlighted News
- Go to Appearance → Widgets
- Drag Daisy: Highlighted News widget to Frontpage Highlighted News widget position
- Add Titles
- Select 4 Categories
- Click Save

News Sections
- Go to Appearance → Widgets
- Drag Daisy: News Layout 1 widget to Frontpage News Section widget position
- Add Titles
- Select Category
- Specify Number of posts
- Click Save
You can do similar for other Layouts too. There are 3 more layouts Daisy: News Layout 2, Daisy: News Layout 3 & Daisy: News Layout 4

Sidebar
- Go to Appearance → Widgets
- Drag required Widgets widget to Sidebar position
- Set up each widgets
- Click Save
Advertisement Widgets
- Go to Appearance → Widgets
- Drag required Ads Widgets widget to Sidebar position. There are 4 different types of Advertisements. A. Daisy: Ads 130x130: with size of 130px width and 130px height. B.Daisy: Ads 262x220: this ads is specially for sidebar location, height of ads is 220px however it will adjust height automatically of banner height. C. Daisy: Ads 728x90: specially for header wide banner ads. D. Daisy: Ads 870x150: this type of ads is for news section ads.
- Set up each Advertisement's title, link and banner image
- Click Save
[ Even you can see each ads have different height and width, the widgets can have any size of banner ads and it will adjust height and width depending upon uploaded banner image. ]
Footer Widgets
Currently Theme have 4 footer widgets positions
- Go to Appearance → Widgets
- Drag Widget to each Widget Position as your needs
- Click Save
